This series highlights the best opening weekends since 1980… with 10 movies you don’t want to slip/through the cracks.


This Weekend in History features a super action franchise, Sean Penn does cop action, Zeta-Jones in a sexy spy thriller, a 9/11 action thriller, a hilarious chick flick done right, and 5 Cult Classics.

While there are no massive blockbusters released over the decades this last weekend of April, there are several word-of-mouth smash hits and some totally rad Cult Classics.

Despite being a Part 5, this series was getting better and better.

The best decision was switching from racing to heists.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the way in this high energy action flick.

Introduced The Rock to the franchise.

Turn off your brain and watch the laws of physics get defied.

Popcorn munching over-the-top fun at its best.
