THE PREFACE:Michael B. Jordan delivers a brilliant performance in Fruitvale Station – my pick for best film of 2013. In fact, Jordan re-teams with his director (Ryan Coogler) of this hidden gem for the upcoming entry in the Rocky franchise, Creed.

    A couple of years ago, a friend told me to watch this movie. I asked if it was a sad movie and when he said “it kind of is”, I decided not to watch it. I’ll give it a try with a box of tissues at hand because you mentioned “a message”. I love those kind of movies. I need those messages 😀
