THIS WEEK:A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) – Teens are terrorized in their dreams by a demonic figure in this Wes Craven horror classic. If they die in their sleep, they die in real life.

HOW IT STARTS: A young man sneaks into his girlfriend’s bedroom at night. She has a nightmare and is attacked by Freddy Krueger – the monster of this 80s slasher.

THE PREFACE: Writer and director, Wes Craven, recently passed away. Now is an appropriate time to Remember his Cinema. His legendary status owes a lot to his work on this astounding horror film. He delves deep into our psyche looking for new ways to frighten the audience.
